arislyn played Borderlands

I took Chowder into the Lost Caverns to get shock crystals. I was doing pretty well until I got back to the bandit's camp....and ran completely out of ammo. D'oh!

While I was in there, I fought a couple of badass corrosive alpha skags. Man, those things make me cry. They are so hard to kill when you don't have a corrosive weapon. All that heavy armor around their head and neck means I keep running around, hoping they'll turn so I can shoot them in the back or side. Now, I do have a shocking pistol that is great! Still...hard to kill those puppies.

I ended up sprinting back to the entrance to get more ammo, only to find that all kinds of things had respawned behind me. So, I just left the instance and will go back in, later. There was no way I was going to be able to stop and buy anything from the vendors with everything chasing me.
