Our local Best Buy has a demo of this on the floor and, every time we visit, my son runs over and starts happily playing while my husband and I take turns looking at other stuff. So, we finally just bought our boy his own copy so that he can play here at home.

We sat on the couch and played together for about half an hour or so. He has a great time looking for stuff, even though I have to help him. After all, he can't read, yet. And, he doesn't know what some of the stuff they ask for is (gas mask, for example). So, he needs a wee bit of help from mommy and daddy when playing, but that doesn't stop him from having fun.

Once he went to sleep, I laid down in bed and played a bit, myself. It's really a fun, little game. It's great pre-bed fodder. It's not hard, so it doesn't tax my already tired brain at the end of the day. It's simple and relaxing. I like it!

Jez and I got this game awhile back. We love playing this type of game together on the computer. The only drawback is that with the screen of the DS being meant for one person, it's kind of hard for two people to play at once. I should check to see if the game has a wireless mode. Jez has her own DS now, so maybe we can play together that way.
Yeah, it's easy with my son since he sits in my lap and I just look over his shoulder. For two adults, using the DS is hard.

I definitely think I'm going to start picking up more games like this for the DS. I love playing games before going to bed and stuff like this is perfect.
Just be careful you don't wind up playing and playing then looking up at your clock and wondering how on earth it got be 4 am so quickly. That's happened to me many, many times.
