Our local Best Buy has a demo of this on the floor and, every time we visit, my son runs over and starts happily playing while my husband and I take turns looking at other stuff. So, we finally just bought our boy his own copy so that he can play here at home.
We sat on the couch and played together for about half an hour or so. He has a great time looking for stuff, even though I have to help him. After all, he can't read, yet. And, he doesn't know what some of the stuff they ask for is (gas mask, for example). So, he needs a wee bit of help from mommy and daddy when playing, but that doesn't stop him from having fun.
Once he went to sleep, I laid down in bed and played a bit, myself. It's really a fun, little game. It's great pre-bed fodder. It's not hard, so it doesn't tax my already tired brain at the end of the day. It's simple and relaxing. I like it!

I definitely think I'm going to start picking up more games like this for the DS. I love playing games before going to bed and stuff like this is perfect.
