I hung out in Diren for a little while so that I could get a nifty prize from the GMs. They gave everyone present a couple of badges that give you 50% extra experience for 30 minutes. Some people seemed to think that was nothing but, you know what? I'm not sneezing at anything that increases my rate of exp gain!

So, badge in hand, I toddled off to the terrawhale and jumped down its gullet to do a little grinding. (You heard that right. I let a whale swallow me so I could fight the critters living in its digestive tract.) When you know you're getting extra exp and you're limited to only 30 minutes, grinding isn't bad at all. It becomes sort of a speed game, with you trying to kill as many things as possible under that time limit. Since I'm playing a sorceress, that badge becomes doubly useful. (Why, hello there, AoE attacks!)
